We call our approach to facilitating meetings of different kinds embodied facilitation. Usually we sit too much. We do. If we move, we do it on special days and hours, when we go to our yoga class or fitness studio. After that we have more energy, clearer focus, and fresh ideas come to mind. But why wait for those special hours, if we can refresh our mind and energize our body just when we need it? Embodied facilitation offers a set of tools to guide any process or group work to support people in dealing with complexity, in regaining presence, clarity and focus in moments when they may no longer remember what they should be focusing on, or their productivity drops and no creative ideas come to mind. Through simple tools, such as mindful awareness, breathing, stretching, walking sessions and so on, people learn to get in touch with their creative drive, recharge their energy, and collaborate better throughout the working process. By integrating these tools into their daily lives people also learn to create a lasting effect both on their efficiency as well as personal wellbeing.
