Propositions is a project we do for young children, which involves precisely that — propositions from the side of adults: we propose time, materials, space, where children can themselves discover possibilities and find out what and how they want to do with what we offered them. These interventions and proposals for kids take off from a place of paying attention to children, their current interests and fascinations. Noticing reality of what children are living at the moment, we can join the interests that they show in organic and respectful ways.

Below some impressions from “Propositions” during a residency we did at Nurserine, a kindergarten in Paris, France, based on active pedagogy, honest relationships, as well as arts and creative development in the center of their work with children.
